Simplified external locking
for external halyards.
The Alphalock Block Lock allows a halyard to pass through the lock, around a permanent half round surface acting like a sheave then back downward, usually into an entrance in the mast located below the lock. This lock is best suited to sails set flying like spinnaker and forestay sails. It is an especially popular application with multi-hull sailors. It also is an excellent upgrade for replacement of spinnaker halyard blocks hanging from masthead cranes on cruising yachts.
Available for safe working loads of 1T, 2T, 4T and 7.5T
Patent Pending.
